This cute little cabin was a perfect 2 night stay for my husband and I. We enjoyed the mountain views from our front porch. The cabin as clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The drive to the cabin was a bit unexpected with gravel roads but once we got to our cabin we felt away from the in town crowd. There are other cabins around but we didn’t feel that our space was invaded at all. There is no TV in the unit but we didn’t feel not even miss it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends.

I stayed in the Lookout cabin at the Black Mountain Stomping Grounds in June while mountain biking for 4 days in the surrounding area with friends. My friends stayed in the Falcon cabin. All of us greatly appreciated the design, quality, cleanliness, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail that went into each of our cabins. The cabins were equipped with absolutely everything we needed, and the entire site was peaceful and beautiful. I am an adventure traveler and recommend this to my fellow adventurers. Staying here was a wonderful experience, I wouldn't hesitate to return for another stay. 5/5

The hosts are terrific, and everything in the cabin is just what I needed; excellent space with nice appointments including the artwork, furnishings and core kitchen equipment. The back porch is a real delight. If you are looking for a little retreat embedded in nature, this is your spot.

Oaken Hill is the perfect place to stay to explore Black Mountain and surrounding area. Set back on a wooded lot at end of a quiet street it feels like a welcoming hug at the end of a day filled with activities . The inside has a clean modern feel that doesn't feel intimidating . Comfort was clearly part of plan for this rental and it delivers. Highly recommend for a fun mountain stay!

Compact and cute with everything you need for a fun stay! The views are amazing and the owners/staff are wonderful. We enjoyed a 4-night stay with plenty to do in the area and great dining options in Black Mtn. Coffee aficionado's head to Dynamite Roasting Co.

The house met all our needs and was extremely clean, which I loved. We have stayed there before, it is centrally located for us in Marion and we truly love being there.

FireflyLodge was perfect!! Excellent communication and well stocked kitchen and bedrooms! Everything was perfect for 4 adults !! Only 8 mins away from our Family reunion in Montreat!

We loved our stay at the Upper Deck. The house is tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and bedding, the kitchen has stocked essentials and it is conveniently located for attending Clubs and conferences. The views are phenomenal and the house is well maintained. We look forward to returning!

Had a wonderful stay in Black Mountain. House was very clean and views to die for. Down town had plenty of nice restaurants to choose from. Weather was refreshing as we live in Florida. Kitchen was well equipped and furniture nice and comfy. We were only 2 people with a dog but this place could accommodate 4 times more. Communication was excellent from start to finish.

The house is very comfortable, very clean, and very well equipped. I wanted to bring the kitchen home with me but it wouldn’t fit in the car! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the Bluebirds checking out the nest boxes along the fence. The back garden is very peaceful and the fire pit is great although we didn’t get to enjoy it because of the rain. The hosts communication was excellent! Very easy check-in and check-out. I highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay again! Black Mountain is our favorite town in the Blue Ridge! You will love it!
